A notary public is the only authority that can officially notarize your document in the UAE. Nuhuj is not a notary and not a law firm — we do not give legal advice.
We identify the right document, prepare it, arrange certified translation, and coordinate everything with a licensed private notary — including your identity verification, completed by video call. You do not need to visit an office, and in most cases you do not need to be in the UAE.
Who needs a notary in the UAE?
UAE residents who need a power of attorney or declaration notarized and would rather not spend a day between a translation office and a notary counter.
People outside the UAE who own property, hold a company, or have a matter here and need someone to act for them.
Anyone with a transaction on hold — a car sale, a property transfer, a court deadline, a personal status matter — waiting on one notarized document.
Companies and company representatives needing an authorisation for a manager or representative, or a corporate declaration notarized.

Government notary or private notary — what is the difference?
A government notary operates directly under the judicial authority of the emirate, from its premises and during its official hours.
A private notary is a lawyer or entity licensed by the judicial authority to perform notarial acts. A document notarized by a private notary carries the same official legal weight. The difference is procedural: more flexible scheduling, and many matters can be completed electronically.
Nuhuj coordinates with licensed private notaries. We do not notarize documents ourselves — the notarization is performed by the licensed notary, and we coordinate everything before and after it.
What the process requires
Identity verification is completed with the notary by video call — you do not attend in person.
An Emirates ID is not always required. Notarization through Dubai Courts requires a valid Emirates ID. Other routes accept a passport instead. Which route applies depends on your situation, the emirate, and the document itself.
This is exactly where most people lose time: starting down a route their situation does not qualify for, and finding out after they have paid.

Every price includes one principal, one attorney and one translated page. Each additional translated page — AED 150. Each additional principal, attorney or property — AED 300. Anything beyond the standard scope is confirmed with you in writing before you pay.
Which emirate do you need?
We coordinate notarization in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain — through the official judicial systems in the UAE.

The price does not change with your location. It is the same whether you are in Dubai, in Sharjah, or outside the country entirely.
And there is no office for you to reach. We do not have a branch you can visit, and that is deliberate — the whole process is run remotely, which is why the price is one number and the scheduling is flexible.
What we will ask you for
- Passport copy of the person giving authority
- Emirates ID of the person giving authority, where the route requires one
- Passport copy of the person receiving authority
- A clear description of what you want that person to be able to do
The last point matters most. Authority that is too narrow leaves the document useless; authority that is too wide is a risk you do not need to take. We ask questions here on purpose.
Some documents need additional papers — a title deed for property, a trade licence for a company. Send us what you have and we will tell you what is missing.
How it works
You tell us what you need — message us and describe the situation. You do not need to know the document name.
We confirm your price and document list — in writing, before anything is paid.
We prepare and coordinate — including translation and submission to a licensed private notary.
You receive your notarized document — by email, 1–2 working days from the moment we have all your documents.
How is this done without meeting anyone?
Notarization in the UAE no longer requires attending in person for many matters. The judicial platforms allow the procedure to be completed electronically, including identity verification.
In practice, for you:
- Messaging and agreement — WhatsApp or email, in your own time
- Sending documents — photos or files; no paper originals at this stage
- Identity verification — a video call with the notary
- Delivery — the notarized document arrives by email

Is Nuhuj a notary public?
No. Nuhuj is a licensed business services company — not a notary and not a law firm. We coordinate notarization with licensed private notaries. We do not notarize documents ourselves and we do not give legal advice.
How much does a notary public cost in Dubai?
Our prices are published: from AED 1,050 for personal powers of attorney, from AED 1,250 for property, declarations and legal notices, and from AED 1,350 for corporate. The quote we give you is final — no fees appear later. Only debt acknowledgment is quoted after review, because its notary fee is tied to the value of the debt.
Can I notarize a document online in the UAE?
Yes. The judicial platforms allow notarization to be completed electronically, with identity verification by video call. That is the route we coordinate.
Do I need an Emirates ID?

How long does it take?
1–2 working days from the moment we have all your documents. If you have a deadline, tell us at the start and we will confirm whether it is achievable before you pay.
What language is the document issued in?
Arabic. Bilingual translation of one page is included in the price; each additional translated page is AED 150.
Why pay a coordinator instead of going direct?
Because what you are paying for is not the notarization itself — it is the removal of rejection risk: confirming the right document type with you, checking it meets the required form, having it translated by an approved office, and reviewing it before submission. The expensive outcome here is a rejected application that starts again from the beginning.
